Plant Parenthood began when I fell in love with someone and wrote her long letters that she never responded to and sat in my freezing cold room in KNoxville hoping my house didn't get broken into and doing lots of drugs and writing sad songs on my new electric guitar. Four months later I convinced that girl to learn how to play drums and we played songs that I had written about her. I used the band to be around her and she used me wanting to be around her to be in a band. It was very beautiful. whenever i see her now i usually have to go home and lie down on the floor of my room for a few hours and i sleep terribly.
