Forget The Times

Sean says :
My band is called Forget The Times and the new tape is entitled 'Escape From The Planet Of Llamas'. The title is a reference to Brazilian outsider musician Damião Experiênça. FTT is a free improv/noise rock band out of Kalamazoo, MI.
Some of our influences include: The Dead C, Les Rallizes Denudes, Keiji Haino, Derek Bailey, U.S. Maple, Captain Beefheart.
This is our first album and we plan to release a followup on vinyl in March.
The tape is being released on the label I'm helping to start up, Already Dead.

The Slaves

The Slaves are a girl/boy duo from Portland OR trading in gothic drones and slowed down 50’s pop and surf. Using voice, feedback, and synths Barbra Kinzle and Birch Cooper create an overwhelming and melancholic beauty. Mastered by Matt Carlson of Golden Retriever

Essentially a perfect album. I was floored by them live and I am totally floored by this…like a heavier My Bloody Valentine without the drums and Kevin Shields... or something.

Interlard

Wes says :
We're a noisy kind of experimental type of band from Birmingham, UK.
There are two of us and we've been together as Interlard since 2003.
Our noise is created using Guitar, Bass, and machinery and stuff.
We have released 4 albums (all available free @ our bandcamp)
We gig rarely (not by choice) but are planning to remedy that.
We are woeful at self-promotion and don't mix well.
Bands we think we connect with:
Shit and Shine, Hey Collosus, Stangulated Beatoffs, Skullflower, Monno, The Goslings, Grey Daturas.

Archipelago

Keith says :
We are all islands; each set of ears, each set of lungs. Our intake and resolve are the product of individualized contact, and yet the ocean of subtle thought-forms which separate one mind from another are precisely that which connect us. Our three-piece is all about separations which unite, and unity that separates- musically and otherwise. As Minnesotan transplants to Portland, Oregon, we have taken part in a diverse array of projects, including Troubadour, Gratitillium, and a myriad of acoustic endeavors. We also enjoy spicy food, banter, and mind expansion. Influences for your consideration (in no particular order) include: The Orb, Acid Mothers Temple, Sun Ra, Throbbing Gristle, Earth, Seed Mouth, Daughters of the Sun, High Wolf, Skoal Kodiak, Moodring, Emeralds, and Black Dice.

We are an experimental noise duo from Brooklyn. Our influences range from visceral free improv bands like Last Exit, amplifier noise destroyers like The Dead C, spacey kraut jammers like Can and fast, aggressive punk rock a la Bad Brains, but it's not guaranteed to sound like any of that. We are also influenced by musicians like Kaoru Abe, who play incredibly inaccessible music, take too many drugs and die young.
