Once I recorded inside a rain barrel. Now everything I record ends up sounding like it is inside a rain barrel. But that's not really that helpful.The experiment usually takes over the sound and kills it, but sometimes something gets left over.
The second track, St. Catherine was prepared from a recording of a kid's 15 string zither played with chopsticks sortof like a hammered dulcimer.

Emerging out of Moscow comes Billiam Wutler Yea with this disc of seriously damaged and beautiful sampledelica. Like High Wolf being mixed by Mathew Bower “Y Eso Que Muerte” is a dense album of blown out micro-loops and spiraling vortexes of reverb. Themes come in and out of focus. The highs pierce and screech and the fuzzy middle flows constantly, never sitting still. There is a definite focus on enthographic samples here but chillwave this is not. Born in Seattle from one single take guitar/pedal improv by Demian, “Trailed & Kept” was then sent to Chris in LA to mangle how he saw fit. Forget The Times
Sean says :My band is called Forget The Times and the new tape is entitled 'Escape From The Planet Of Llamas'. The title is a reference to Brazilian outsider musician Damião Experiênça. FTT is a free improv/noise rock band out of Kalamazoo, MI.
Some of our influences include: The Dead C, Les Rallizes Denudes, Keiji Haino, Derek Bailey, U.S. Maple, Captain Beefheart.
This is our first album and we plan to release a followup on vinyl in March.
The tape is being released on the label I'm helping to start up, Already Dead.
